Many home buyers think their home inspector will inspect the pool. Sadly, this is rarely the case, as most home inspectors will not inspect the pools. Having an inspector who specializes in and who only inspects pools, will ensure you are receiving the BEST service possible, choose A to Z Pool Inspections.
Like home inspections, the purpose of a pool inspection is primarily the concern of the prospective buyer. A thorough professional pool inspection lets home buyers and home owners know about the condition of the pool and its mechanical processes. If left unchecked, easy to detect issues could become costly to repair. A pool inspection should include not only the pool itself but all the associated surrounding components and equipment to keep your investment safe.
Another great reason to have a pool inspection done by A to Z Pool Inspections, is it's an opportunity to gain design insight or bounce any of your pool remodeling ideas off one of our specialists. We inspect items such as pump/filter, fences/gates, electrical/lighting, pool patios/decks, skimmer/drain, coping/tile and more.
When buying a new home, you'll need to do a home inspection. However we encourage the homebuyer to have a pool inspection done at the same time. Pool repairs and replacement can be quite costly, and it just makes sense to have the pool and pool equipment evaluated along with the house to ensure everything is working how it should!
As Certified Pool Inspectors (CPI), our inspectors take pride in the inspections they perform. During the inspection, a series of tests and
inspections are performed to ensure that pool’s components are in proper working order on the day of the inspection. A verbal summary of
the inspection is provided on the day of the inspection and a detailed written report is provided shortly thereafter. The report has
approximately 30 sections, with photos and details to help you and your agent understand the current condition of the pool, the safety in and
around the pool, and suggestions for remediation and/or repair of items that are not working satisfactorily.
We are excited to help you and your agent understand the current condition of the pool and its components while you are under contract (during your 10-day home inspection period).
Many home buyers assume that pool inspections cannot be done during the winter, and this is not true! The only time during the winter that an inspection cannot be performed is if there is snow on the cover of the pool . At A to Z Pool Inspections, we do inspections 7 days a week, 365 days out of the year! While winter pool inspections (i.e., closed pool inspections) will take longer than those done when the pool is open, they will provide invaluable information to any home buyer during the inspection period of the contract. A pool is typically one of the most expensive features of the home, so if there are underlying problems, they can be very costly to fix! As a home buyer, you want to know the condition of the pool and its’ components as well as any potential repair or replacement costs before you get to the closing table!
